If you are a newcomer, we have several options for you:

Initial Session

New Students

For new students, we recommend scheduling an Initial Session for assessment, guidance and learning. Our skilled instructors will address your goals and needs while introducing you to the exercise techniques we offer. You’ll get a good sense of the work and have a clear direction for moving forward.

  • Work one-on-one with an expert instructor.
  • Develop a personalized program that focuses on your specific goals and needs.
  • Address imbalances to create more freedom of movement.
  • Create a plan for your exercise and conditioning goals to carry into the rest of your daily activities.
  • Enhance your current workout regimen.
  • Learn to get the most out of group sessions and mat classes.

To get started with an Initial Session, please call the studio at (650) 967-6414.

Private and Group Sessions

After you've taken some privates, you can continue with private instruction and/or move into an ongoing group with instructor approval. Because we organize groups based on students' compatible level of understanding and fitness, we'd assess the next best step after you've been coming in a few times.

Mat Classes

Mat classes are a great option for a solid workout and a safe, effective way to become more fit and flexible. Our mat classes help you maintain a consistent movement practice with our convenient lunchtime, evening and Saturday morning schedule. All of our classes are drop-in and open to all levelsno appointment needed! Instructors offer modifications for those who are beginning and variations for more advanced students. In this way, we can have all levels in class. If you have any injuries or movement limitations, we highly recommend taking private sessions for assessment and guidance before taking mat class.

Introductory Workshops

Owen teaching Pilates workshop

In addition to privates, groups and mat classes, we offer introductory workshops and 5-week intensives throughout the year. They are designed to teach you fundamental exercises and help you make key connections in your body for an improved movement experience in your sessions. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of proper body mechanics, alignment, breathing, and core activation, which is relevant to virtually every activity you do!

It's so helpful to have someone adjust you properly when learning an exercise.
